You can use Google Trends to analyzes a percentage of Google web searches to figure out how many searches were done over a certain period of time on keywords that are critical to your pregnancy center.  Google Trends adjusts search data to make comparisons between terms easier. Otherwise, places with the most search volume would always be ranked highest. To do this, each data point is divided by the total searches of the geography and time range it represents, to compare relative popularity. The resulting numbers are then scaled to a range of 0 to 100.

Below we have used the search term “Abortion” to analyze data across the United States.

Google Trends is a free tool that can be useful for Pregnancy Centers who are running their own Google AdWords campaigns. The trending tool can also be one of many helpful tools to analyze the content on your website to make sure it contains rising topics and queries to boost your organic search so your website is in the best possible position to connect with women searching for your center’s services. It contains an option called Google Hot Trends which displays the top 20 hot ( fastest rising searches ) and has a history feature for those wishing to browse past hot searches. The rising keywords is only a snapshot in time so it cannot be the only tool used to analyze your site but using this in conjunction with KeyWord Planner and other traffic tools your center can stay current with search trends in your state and region.
